Special Courses in IITs

Engineering aspirants are not the only ones that can take admission into India’s premier engineering institutes. IITs also offer courses targetting Commerce, Arts and Humanities students, which offer the same quality and rigorous standards of education that is expected from IITs.

Right from its establishment in the year 1951, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has earned tremendous goodwill and has made itself more of a brand than just a mere institute. With an excellent placement record and a marvellous alumni network, IITs are rightly considered to be the premier engineering institutes in India.

While IITs have been primarily set up for engineering courses, they have added their own Humanities and Social Sciences, and Management departments over the years and now students can take admission into Design, MA, and MBA programmes at IITs. This widening in the scope of education offered at IITs has, in turn, benefited students from the Commerce, Arts and Humanities streams, who can now look to India’s most revered institutes for their higher education.
